CAAA Scholarship Application

CAAA Scholarship Fund Guidelines Sponsored by: The Caribbean Association of Adventists in Alberta (CAAA). Purpose: To reward the outstanding academic achievement of Alberta post-secondary students who are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program and are in financial need. These are students who demonstrate the values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and/or contribute to the promotion of Caribbean culture in Alberta. Value: $500 to $1000 issued as funds are available. A recipient may only receive a lifetime maximum of two CAAA Scholarships. Dr. Wesley Knight Bio

Dr. Wesley Knight, is a preacher, pastor, professor, mentor, author and agent of change. His is the Pastor of the Fusion Atlanta Church in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Knight is also the President and Co-Founder of Communiversity, a Non-Profit organization that provides leadership training, ministry consulting, and community empowerment both nationally and internationally. Dr. Knight recently served as the Assistant Professor of Preaching and Religion at Oakwood University.   Born in a Christian home to parents Michael and Sharon Kelly in Inglewood, California, Michael B. Kelly, II had the privilege of developing a relationship with God from childhood. After completing primary school, he attended Murrieta Valley High School, where he excelled in football and track. He transferred to La Sierra Academy for his junior and senior years and upon graduating, received a track scholarship to attend Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, Maryland.
